Hello, Adventurers!
Welcome to “This Month in Sky”, where we share Sky news, community activities, and creations from Sky Kids around the world.
As we say farewell to Season of Lightmending and Days of Bloom, we look forward to Season of Carnival and Days of Nature! Read below for a peek at what’s coming, and make sure to keep an eye on our social media channels for more details in the future.

Our next major patch is coming out later this month, so make sure to visit our Patch Notes page when it goes live to see the full list of new features, bug fixes, and improvements.
Season of Carnival
April 17th - July 2nd
The Wandering Carnival is arriving! Full of revelry and delight, this group of spirits is bringing a new set of Shared Space challenges and fun antics with them as their huge traveling carnival sails through the skies.
These new challenges bring their own rewards – completing other players’ Shared Space Challenges grants different amounts of Light based on how complex the creation is!
Days of Nature
April 10th - 23rd
Just like in real life, helping our world heal is an ongoing effort that takes many hands.
Activities from previous years are returning, along with a new one – the ability to take unwanted items left on the beach and turn them into beautiful sculptures. Completing these sculptures is a community effort, so make sure to seek out the Grateful Shell Collector once you’re in the event area to get started.
Sky Creator Awards - Entries Closed
Entries for the 2026 Sky Creator Awards are now closed!
Thank you to everyone who shared their creativity with us, and thank you to all the Sky Kids around the world who have cheered on their friends and favorite creators. We’re incredibly excited to share the Creator Awards nominees with all of you on May 1st!

Sky Hug Challenge
Through April 15th, share hugs with the world! Post hugs on social media using #SkyHugs and #shareskyhugs to join the challenge.Please see https://www.thatskygame.com/hug for more information about participation and rewards.
Player Interviews on the In-Game Stage
All throughout the month of April, Tethys is back on the in-game stage for more interviews! Join her and her guests at the Aviary stage at 4:00pm PDT on the dates listed below:

Community Eden Run
April 17th, 4:00pm
You guessed it! It’s time for another Community Eden Run! Join us for another chaotic foray into the storm. Festival tech will be enabled, and we’ll have some staff members broadcasting their Sky Kids as they make their way through.
Discord Play Sessions
April 17th, 4:00pm for the Community Eden Run
The Community Devs will be hosting Play Sessions in the Skycord Stage channel throughout Days of Nature and Season of Carnival. Check out the server's Events tab for the dates and times as they're added to the schedule!
